
Game designer and programmer
Pitch:
In the desert of Alderfell, the warship Medusa is caught in a storm and finds
itself in a very dangerous area where no laws apply. We play a crew who must
survive in this harsh area where the weather is known to be merciless.
The magnetic field makes it impossible to locate with compasses and
communicate by radio. Pirates love this lawless zone because they can hunt
ships that get lost there.
Our crew must survive in this hopeless situation where resource management
will take an important place.



My role during this project:
- Game designer
Creation of different mechanics with a team of 3 other people.
Did most of the rational game design with another colleague (especially for atomic parameters related to time values). Programmer:
I did all of the programming on the project. This project taught me a lot about this part of creation. Doing a management game over 3 months and trying to do all the programming alone was a pretty tough challenge to take on, but the challenges didn’t scare my team and me. This project allowed us to strengthen our ties while gaining skills in our respective fields.
